Annie had another stroke last night. I saw it happen this time. She had come back to close to normal after the last one but now she is lethargic and very wobbly again. In fact, she doesn’t want to get up and would not eat. She did drink water and I got her outside to go potty but that’s it. So worried and don’t know what to do not that I think there is anything to be done… sigh…

Victoria. I am so sorry to hear about Annie. Heartbreaking when anything happens to them, we feel so helpless. They give us so much. At the end all we can do is comfort them and do the best when we know the time is right. Crying for you as I write this. Velvet’s litter looks lovely. She gave us a special dog in our Lilly Rose! Take care of yourself, in our thoughts and prayers.

I will never forget the first time we came to meet you and your dogs. I was sitting on the couch and Annie came over and put her head on my lap and fell asleep as I petted her. I fell in love instantly and knew I had to have one of her puppies. How lucky we were to get Ruby. She is beautiful, sweet and the best snuggled ever. All her Mother’s good traits as well as the naughty! Roasted chickens have mysteriously “fallen” off the counter and a whole lamp cord was eaten. But, the most amazing thing of all is that she will put her head on my lap and fall asleep while I pet her. We are so blessed to have her and think of Annie often. Please know our hearts go out to you and we pray that the meds keep helping.

Annie update… She seems a bit better today, maybe the mess at helping. But, she is still very wobbly and prett much just sleeps. She always was a lap dog, so I keep,scooping her up…

Barry & I are crying for you even as I write this. It’s so hard to watch our animal loved ones approach the end of their lives. You are such a good “Mom” — Annie is in the best of hands.

Bob and I are so sorry to hear the sad news about gourgous Annie. We too are well aware of how painful it is to watch a beloved member of your family become ill.. Let us, your extended poodle family help shoulder the burden and lessen your pain. Thinking of you.

So sorry. Annie is really beautiful! I know how it is to watch a wonderful dog go downhill. She obviously brought you a lot of joy. Dogs aren’t like family–the ARE family.

God creates every creature to give him glory, this Annie has done and continues to do. You and your mom cherish and love her, and many others have been touched by her, through her progeny helping them to experience the goodness of God, some love and companionship.
