Yay. Questo went Winner’s dog/OS and Pearl went Winner’s Bitch and Breed. Did not go to group and no pictures. Very cold, rainy, windy. But will take the points – two each!!!

Yay. My Velevt/Spencer son, questo — yes, littermate to Mondo–won his first time in the ring. Small show, one point, but I’ll take it handler said he showed beautifully Also said his sister Ruby showed like a maniac — my party girl, but other sister, Pearl, showed beautifully too. My babies…

 This is a Marco daughter.  Her dam is CH Cadbury’s Chocolate Fantasia.  Love the name.  Hers too.  Isn’t she pretty? She is pictured here winning a 4 pt major at a specialty show and taking Best Puppy there.  Very Nice.  Thank you Liz for the picture.

Or she is certainly playing a good game.  Very tempermental, very hungry, very clingy.  All good signs.  So, let’s all pray to the Poodle Gods!!!!!!!

In my lap — playing, then kissing, then watching TV, then falling asleep.  He only weights about 53 lbs now…      Is there a dog in there? Aww….

Mojo and Ruby live in PA. Mojo just hurt himself and needed extensive surgery.  His owner sent these pictures.  SIGH.  My  poor baby boy.  Think another out there, Miss Pearlie Girlie has same or similar incident recently.  These dogs!!!!!!!!!!!!  Make us nuts — because we love them so…  SIGH.   He looks so much like his momma Tiara (Luca is daddy). 4 am and wide awake. So, blog… Using my ipad – was playing games – I dont type so well on this either… All my dogs are sleeping all around me. PJ is curled up right next to me and probably will thru her pregnancy if like last time. Making babies, I hope… I should be tired as I groomed Marco – here for a few days, gorgeous boy, groomed Spirit, cute thing and brushed out Mondo, getting big, pretty boy. My mother just walked down hall, awake too. Geez, both be napping tomorrow. Want to groom Merry, Miss Darling Thing tomorrow, but now probably wont. Hopefully this is not because I am gerting a migraine which happens alot after insomnia. Too much on my mind as usual. Need to learn some relaxation techniques, I guess. maybe need bigger bed – Velvet, Marco and PJ sharing right now. Hmmmm.

First the earthquake, then all the aftershocks and Iwas already shocked by the original earthquake. did not like it at all. My house rumbled like a freight train was coming thru. Then the aftershocks started. Wake me up in the middle of the night -very unsettling. Then a ridiculous tstorm with high winfs, guess getting us ready for Irene. Geez… So of course with a hurricane coming over a weekend, PJ is getting close to being ready to breed. So, I get Dino’s semen shipped for today even tho could be early. Oh well, better not to be too late, I hope. And Mondo thought it was a good day –

I know I’m nuts.  But my last litter was over six months ago and I hate that long of a stretch without puppies.  PJ has just come into heat — I think.  Should know for sure but don’t.  These girls can fool you.  Mondo has been “practicing” with PJ  for a few days and I checked  but there was no evidence of her coming into heat.  Last night, he seemed to not take no for an answer so I checked again, and voila!!  So, off to the vet’s for a progesterone test today hoping the number I get back tomorrow morning is such that I have not missed her.  Dino, get ready!!!  Here is a picture of my darling girl and the daddy to be (I hope) — this will be their second litter together.   Isn’t she beautiful?  Really, so much like her Momma Peri & Gramma Lulu – breakes my heart. And this boy — aptly named — Ch Luminary Extreme Dynamite!!!  (If I say so myself – lol)

 Mondo is home for about a month growing into his new long legs. He has been enjoying himself out back playing with his Momma Velvet and his Aunties PJ and Merry.  Sometimes his Great Granny Annie is out there too.  She however, doesn’t play so much as keeps trying to teach him manners!!!  Same for Auntie Spirit — although she is funny — she alternates between teasing him and teaching him.  She gets him going then slaps him down – LOL. So, here he is freshly bathed after taking a mud bath earlier.  He and Merry came in dripping mud.  Well, his show coat won out and he got the bath.  Merry got a bit of brushing after it dried and is in the tub tomorrow.  Always something…
