Update

Sorry all for being off the blog for awhile. Just very busy along with not feeling so great. I did go to Raleigh for shows to see Pearl so of couse was down and out afterwards. Trips always do that to me and this time a bit worse. And two other things happened that were pretty bad… My little Spirit died. Very suddenly after apparently having a stroke. I miss her so much… She was my little shadow and so very dear. I always adored her which is why I tried so hard to get a little girl from her. Thankfully I got Merry who is just like her momma!!!! And now Peri is sick and we cannot figure out what is going on. She wont eat much, lethargic. Did all the tests. Sigh… And that same weekend I got a call from the shelter saying they had Ruby. She is one of my Velvet puppies from her first litter – along with Mondo, Vivi, Questo and Pearl. They had my name because I had microchipped her prior to showing her as a baby. I placed her when I decided to finish Vivi instead not needing to finish five, so I let her go. Unfortunately the woman who had her decided she could be an outside dog apparently because she was matted to the bone. — worst thing I’ve seen. The guy who picked her up running along the road side he was not sure she was a dog and I could see why. I doubled over and retched when I saw her but she knew me immediatelly and jumped all over me while I was crying. Clearly starved for attention and a bit thin too. It took me four hours to shave her down and she stood like a statue for me. She is really cute – always was and is now glued to me – lying on my leg rght now. But she likes my mom and Carolyn (my dog caretaker) alot too so i think I could rehome her – 3 yrs old. God is really trying me right now between my own issues and this. I need a break which is why I went to Raleigh!!! But, just look at these … if don’t know why the pictures are sideways… And it should go without saying that if you don’t want the dog return it to your breeder or re home it for God’s sake!!!!
