Just got this picture of Reny’s Best Puppy in Specialty Show. Won in Oklahoma City. Quite beautiful, if I say so myself and quite a lovely picture. That Poodle Club did a wonderful job putting on the show and set up this lovely picture site. Shows off the dog very well… See the post below for more about Reny.
Diva is due – really yesterday and her temperature has dropped so she should start any time now. Last time she was a slow starter and very slow til actually delivering, in fact I was taking her in for a c-section thinking something was wrong and she delivered the first puppy in the car. Hopefully no repeat of that this time. And, the x-ray confirmed there are only three puppies — none hiding as I’d hoped. Oh well,,, we’ll take ‘em. So, have to wait just a bit longer to see what she has…
Reny is a young girl I co-bred/co-own — out of Jada (Peri/Luca daughter) and sired by Griffin (Tiara/Mufasa son). She just turned 9 mo. But this picture is from when she was just 8 mo. having won her first point. She now has two points and two Best Standard Puppy in Specialty Show wins,,, so she is doing very well. More pictures to follow as her career progresses. Next shows are in SC.

Big puppy boy left to live in PA today.
This is Oliver, or Ollie for short, leaving with his new family for Lubick, TX. They were vacationing in the area and found us in time to take the little guy home with them. He is adorable. Griffin/Monique baby boy from a litter of 9 (only one was a girl!!!) in Fredericksburg. The breeder is keeping one to show/breed so now three are still available. Ollie is justt too cute – little munchkin!!!

Pumpkin left for his new home saturday after being fresly groomed. Very nice people came and he turned on the charm — at one point he wrapped his front legs around her neck and kissed her — so his new “momma” was a gonner. She just sent me this picture.
OKC video — apparently loading a video did not work. it seemed to but it just says the video with nothing ot click on… have to check it out… other pictures to follow.

Well, having a great time here in okc even though Merry did not win as her handler had hoped. I knew it was a long shot – although hope springs eternal as they say. But when saw in the catalog that the top winning poodle bitch in the country was competing I figured her long shot just got way longer. However, mygirl held her own,so she continued to do me proud. At specialties, when a judge has very good quality before them, they sometimes pull out from theline up what they want to give either an extra look at or kind of let the audience know that they think even though the other dog isnot the winner, it was in their opinion, very competitive with the winner. In this case, their were 6 specials ( already finished champions) competing for the top honors. The judge pulled out of the line up both Merry and the top winning bitch and had them go round the ring just the two of them and then self stack separately from the rest. Quite exciting even though I knew she would eventually point to the other. But for my girl to hold her own against her was very nice. And, Reny, not to be outdone, at just 8 months old has won her class every day and at the specialty, she went on to take reserve winners bitch and then best standard puppy in show — yay!!!!! Pictures are on Reny’s co-owner’s camera, so will post them later…
Leaving tomorrow for the big event to see Merry in her last Hurrah. So, in her honor, thought I’d post a picture of her before her glory days since lately I’ve posted several of her in all her show-girl glory. This one is still my favorite!!!

Here is another from her baby hood — she was such a darling baby. Just like a littel teddy bear.
