I have a new puppy champion. CH Luminary Black Velvet Son’lo Il del Redel Mondo, (aint that a mouthful and not spelled quite rght in Italion, for some reason the akc website would not take the proper way). He is one of my Velvet /Spencer puppies. In his brief show career, he earned a five point major at just 8 months old, and got two more majors of three and four with a one pointer somewhere in there too. Then, he finished, winning one point both yesterday and today! So proud!!! I am travelling to NC to bring him home tuesday. My baby boy…  This picture is from when he won the five pt’r.  Hope to get another from when he finished.

This is Luminary Black Velvet Bejeweled in Pearls !!!  She now has three points with this nice win going Best of Breed in Augusta, GA.  She is one of the Velvet/Spencer puppies I’m showing – littermate to Mondo who has been featured quite a bit, almost fnished and Questo and Ruby, the Scamp.   So, my showing is going well, as usual, my dogs do pretty well out there — so proud — but  I have some not so great news.  PJ is not pregnant.  SIGH.  I tried a second shipment of semen and artificial insemination with Dino in Chicago.  Oh Well!!!  Try, try again.  Meanwhile, my next up is Velvet or Merry or both when they come into heat — due soon…

Way to go, Mondo. Got a third major today, a 4 pt’r. With his 5 & 3 pt majors and a one pt’r, he now needs two more to finish!!!!! Wish us luck!!!

  This is Julia Maria – a Jada/Griffin daughter – with her new “daddy” Rev. Duarte.  They live in Richmond, VA and she is here visiting for a few days.  I am quite taken with her.   Not only is she beautiful, but she is a braniac!!! And she has quite the personality.  Afterall, she is a Tiara granddaughter – so what can you expect.  She uses her brain just like her Granny TT did — keeps the Reverand on his toes — he told me quite a few stories of her antics and she is only just over 4 months old!!!!  Not attending mass quite yet, but certainly a part of the whole scene there. She is also very affectionate.  So, she pretty much has everything — brains, beauty and a darling personality.  She is named in part after her co-breeder, Julia Swartz.  Julia is co-owner in that she got the momma, Jada from me but sheis the breeder full out as did all the work whelping and raising both of the Jada/Griffin litters.  So while I take credit for the start point, Julia gets more credit for how this darling turned out. And the Reverand is doing a marvelous job raising her now.  I will enjoy her stay.

Jada/Griffin 4 month old – big boy !!! Sir Henry –  mr photogenic — with a new toy .   and sleepy on the  bed looking especially like his momma PJ.  And Champ — yes, my baby is the big white poodle to the far right — with his therapy dog class.  Go Champ!!!

 Isn’t she adorable?  Lady is the last available puppy from the recent Jada x Griffin litter.  Her momma is a Peri/Luca daughter and Griffin is a Mufasa/Tiara son – one of my champion stud dogs.  This girl looks laot like her Granny Peri.  Peri is a champion and daughter to my most beloved Lulu.  Luca is a champion who produced very lovely puppies.  Someone looking for a cute girl ought to snap her up…

    Mondo and Questo competing against each other for the points (Questo won).  Both beautiful, if I say so myself — And quite a difference for Mondo from the  pictures I posted a couple entries below from when he was here just hanging out with me!!!

Yay. Questo went Winner’s dog/OS and Pearl went Winner’s Bitch and Breed. Did not go to group and no pictures. Very cold, rainy, windy. But will take the points – two each!!!
