Well, after driving the whole way to Salem on Saturday to see neither puppy do anything, Mondo wins on Sunday. He got a three point major, so now has both majors. Yay!!! Go Mondo!!!

Nope, nothing much new here.  That’s a change from my norm.  I took my other two Velvet puppies to the handler today.  This always leaves me with show-breeder’s remorse — my term for how I feel sending off my babies to “charm school” to start their show careers.  Its part of this game I’m in and I really do feel it almost necessary since I have such gorgeous/wonderful babies but I always feel a bit sad sending them off.  They adjust fine, and come home fine, its me really… oh well.  And today neither Mondo nor Ruby did much at the show.  Mondo is smack in the middle of a big growth spurt and rather gangly at the moment and his legs are all over the place when he moves — but still looks great — so pretty… Ruby doing a bit of that but the boys always seem to do it worse guess because they have more growing to do to get bigger. Ruby took Reserve Winners Bitch today, no points but showed well except for monkeying up a bit — she is still a baby — they all are, of course, just turned nine months old yesterday.  And I am on puppy withdrawal anyway here having no new puppies on the ground or enroute!!!  Come on girls, someone come into heat!!!!!!!!!!!!

He sure is looking more and more like his momma… Look at that face — of course, one of my favorites is Velvet’s face, so wow, if I say so myself.  He is having a growth spurt, flattening his feet a bit to help stabilize himself.  Will stop that as he continues to grow — my dogs all have great feet and so did his daddy, Spencer. And, no dog is perfect anyway… But, he’s purty nice…

  New pictures from last weekend of showing. No new points. Oh well. They are still beautiful and still showing beautifully.  Mondo is in the middle of a growth spurt. Still playful in the ring a bit.  Both seem to enjoy it.  Makes it better.  Love to see them.

 Little girl sleeping.  So sweet.  These are from the Jada/Griffin litter I co-own, went to see in MD yesterday.  They outdid themselves.  If anything, better than the first which produced Renny–you may remember all my bragging about her last summer into fall when she won up a storm enroute to finishing as a puppy.  Well, this is another outstanding litter — wish I were a money-bags type — just cannot keep another… sigh…

My  baby, yes baby at just 7 months old, won a five point major today out of 6-9 month puppy class, took BOV and went into Group.  Quite the little man. Guess nothing more since heard nothing more, but, man, I will take that!!!!!!  Mondo is one of my Velvet/Spencer puppies I put out to play and he has just done this.  So proud.  Will certainly post his show picture but til then here is one taken his first day out a couple weeks ago at only 6 months.  LOL…

Jada had her litter – second litter, today.  Sired by my Griffin (CH Luminary Flirtatious Wink).  Nine — 3 boys, 6 girls — just what Velvet had last fall.  Beauties I’m sure — they are not here – she lives with co-owners, Julia and David, in MD.  Cannot wait to go see them.  Their previous litter was beautiful, produced Rcny - who finished her championship last October under a year old.  So, expecting another great litter – Julia says it is!!!!!!!!  

 This Rafi – he left today for his new home in DC – getting a nice, fenced yard to play in and very nice new “mom and dad”.  He was the bouncy baby of this litter… so sweet.

We were in Charlottesville, VA today – beautiful day for a dog show. Mondo hugged the judge once too.   Look at the reach on my boy!!! Cute butt!! And here is the girl! She was great – a real show dog in the making !!!
