Lots going on here as usual!!!   A couple of the PJ/Dino puppies have gone off to their new homes and another leaves later this week.  You saw Henry, the beautiful white puppie before when he left, but his new “momma” has sent me some gorgeous photos so I am posting them here.  And the other two who have left are also pictured. don’t know why this is underscored and cannot get it off.. oh well…. on with the show:

Very small, sorry… but just beautiful pictures of a beautiful puppy boy!!! And here is Lania, the only girl of this bunch. Look at the muddy nose — I told them she will give them a run for their money – she is too smart and mischevious — but the wanted her anyway – LOL. And, now here is Trevor. So purty but looking a bit worried — they always seem to know when they are leaving — something is different. The two black ones look like the same puppy but they are not and the pictures were taken almost a week apart.  But my puppies all look quite similar as they should!!!

And two of the Velvet/Spencer puppies start their show career this weekend.  Not really, as they are only 6 months old and nothing much is expected other than getting them in the ring at this age. I have found that if they get out young, they adjust better when they are ready to “rock-n-roll” and be serious show dogs.  So, off to Charlottesville, VA saturday and sunday to watch my babies play. Then they are in Fishersville, VA the next weekend and NC after that.  Then me and my handler will decide how to proceed — they may stay with him or come home to grow up a bit more, we’ll see. Meanwhile at home, I have their other two littermates, Questo and Pearl continuing to grow their show coats and play like hooligans.  Amazing though, how  two going off seems like so many less doggies around here.  Even with the memorial day weekend visitors we had — full house.  But I like that —

And, Jada, my Peri/Luca daughter is pregnant for the second time to Griffin who sired her first litter too.  That litter produced 8 girls (no boys, how ’bout that), one of which was Reny — or I should say, CH Luminary Maryland October Rennasaince who finished as a puppy making my 15th champ/5th puppy champ — but who’s counting — LOL!!!  No pressure you Velvet puppies — but she is a hard act to follow.  Here is a picture of her… This is the day  she finished her championship in Philladelphia.  Stunning, if I say so myself.  And  here are a coouple when she was a baby, cute… 

  Mondo is one of my Velvet/Spencer puppies — now 6 months old — looking quite bedraggled from the rain.

This is Nala – a PJ littermate, daughter to Peri and Marco.  I just bred her and hope she concieves this time whereas her first try, she did not.  Oh Well, try, try again.  Isn’t she adorable?  She lives in Lorton, VA with my friend of 35 years and her family.  Will, of course, come her to have her babies!!!

Is this the most photogenic puppy or what?  So cute — these pictures were taken at his new hom.  Adorable if I say so myself…    

 Here is Henry, freshly groomed before leaving with his new 2-legged momma who sent me these two  pictures.  He is meeting his new “brother”  –  how sweet. And just look at that beautiful profile!!!    This boy was hard to let go.  He is practically a clone of his momma with robust body from his daddy and sweet like both parents. Daddy is Dino (CH Luminary Xtreme Dynamite) who lives in Chicago.  I must do a repeat breeding an try for a girl like this boy.  Get ready, Dino…  And, off to PCA tomorrow to scout for future stud dogs!!!

Hard to believe but they are.  Here is a before and after of Mundo — at about 8 weeks in my arms — love that picture — too cute.    And Mundo at just over 5 months. Forgive the poor stacking but I  cannot stack the puppy and take his picture – need to do that with somone here to help.  So, this will have to do –  he was not happy being plopped on my desk – so, tail down….  My show handler saw all four of them today and he too thinks they are quite beautiful.  Wants to show the boys are puppies and one girl as a pup, the other I think will stay back so I have something to show at PCA next year.  More pictures to follow – now that I have them all freshly shaved — tomorrow.

  Here are two of the PJ/Dino babies, now almost 7 weeks old.  These pictures were taken today when their new-to-be-owners visited.  Look for more pictures as I hopefully get these and their littermates fully groomed — cannot wait to see what is under that fuzzzzz…..
