Well, the girl who I am not going to breed has come into heat. Velvet whelped a litter of 11 last April so I need to skip her this time. But maybe she will bring PJ in — that happens sometimes. Sigh. Of course when I am anxiously waiting for PJ to come in, she doesn’t. I stopped checking her twice a day hoping if I stop “watching the pot boil”, she would. Now maybe… cross your fingers.

Maybe she will come in for you! I have a girl just went out and one I think is coming in. My boy Armani has been having his head up her butt all day, so I think she is nearing. Gotta love stud dogs – and this one has never been bred – but he is never wrong! Crossing my fingers for you. We want some pretty white girls to even out the blacks !

Well this time I am breeding her to Mondo and he doesn’t carry white… only color besides his black is brown. I had the test done when I decided to use him with PJ just to know if could get white. I may have to use Dino again in the future to get white from her. They did have the most gorgeous white male and I’ve been pining for a female version since. But the last time I shipped semen and did AI’s twice and got NOTHING. I so so miffed. Actually decided I’m done with that repro vet after that becvause I have had far worse luck with all that than others who’ve used the same semen – like you and got bigger litters. So, since Mondo is finshed and gorgeous and produced beautifully with Merry the first time both PJ and Merry will be bred to him as will Reny (my Griffin/Jada daughter who lives in MD with co-breeder/owner)…

That’s true! We got 6 robust puppies from one breeding based on progesterone testing and probably were about a day off. Had we bred Comet a 2nd time, I’ll bet she would have had more. Well, Mondo is beautiful and you did so well with Merry. Reny of course I love and got to see her in person, my Comet’s half sister. So I guess you’ll have a ton of black. Believe me I know how you feel pining for white. It is has been about 15 mos since I said goodbye to my white girl Margot
